Is it hard to instal a video card?

I am going to buy a Nividia GTX590 or Radeon HD6990 video card. How do I intal it, and is it hard?|||google "how to install a videocard" and you'll see.|||Very simple to install.

(First off, make sure your Motherboard, and Power Supply can support it, these are some good cards, you'll need a good Motherboard to support it. I'm not sure about the NVIDIA Card, but the Radeon requires a minimum 750W Power Supply. Make sure you have one, or you'll have some big problems in the near future.)

When you open your computer case, there will be a PCI Slot on the Motherboard. It should look like this - http://www.karbosguide.com/books/pcarchi…

In most cases, the Graphics Card uses the longest one.

You will then connect the cables that came with the Graphics Card to the Power Supply (The connections are easy to match up.)

The hardest part is going into the BIOS Settings and setting the new Card, as the primary one. Or your computer will continue to use the card on the Motherboard by default. Unless there was already a physical card you had to remove.

I hope I helped!

PS - If your Motherboard is not compatible, then you will either need to go with a lower-end card, or build a whole new computer. The Motherboard and CPU are the most expensive parts of a computer, if you have to change the Motherboard, you have to change the CPU in most cases.|||Not at all it's very easy .just put ur card in pcie x16 slot.

connect ur dvi or hdmi cable to graphic card.

Connect the 6pin or 8pin power supply frm psu to ur graphic card nd that's it.|||there are plenty of vids on youtube if you are a visual learner|||its easy plug it in then install its drivers
