Will the i5 2500K be enough for the ASUS GTX590?

??????????????????????|||Yes, they should go together nicely. Especially if you plan on overclocking. (You should easily be able to overclock it to mid 4.x GHz, or higher, with good cooling.)

If you plan on adding a second video card to the 590, I would probably go with something a bit more, such as the 2600k. It's not as cost effective, and it will be overkill for any games currently released, but it will last a bit longer. For most people though, I'd say to just stick with the 2500k.|||A Core i5 can be overclocked up to 4.5 ghz on air cooling, and even at stock settings the Core i5 2500k will take on just about any video game released to date.

If that's not enough, you can always upgrade the CPU to a Ivy Bridge i5 next year, since Ivy Bridge uses the same socket.|||The i5-2500k has reach as high as 5.0 ghz and stable with the right specs ,the gtx 590 dual graphic card will take a 850 watt psu ,recommend a 1000 watt psu, it's not the i5-2500k but the psu working with that graphic card
